For the fourth time in recent years, Howard E. Greenberg, SIOR, President of Howard Properties, Ltd., White Plains, New York, has been designated a Costar Power Broker.  His firm has also been designated a Top Leasing Firm for 2012.

The Power Broker Awards are presented by CoStar Group, Inc., commercial real estate’s leading internet provider of information, analytics and marketing services.  These annual awards recognize distinguished professionals in commercial real estate brokerage by highlighting the achievements of the firms and individual brokers who have closed the highest transaction volumes in commercial property sales and leases in 2012 in their respective markets.

Mr. Greenberg’s significant lease transactions included a 167,691 SF build to suit lease for longtime client Cervalis, LLC in Norwalk, Connecticut.  He also expanded Cervalis’s presence in its Dutchess County, New York facility to 103,097 SF.  He represented Cosentino Group, a worldwide leader in the production and distribution of natural stone, quartz, recycled and architectural surfaces, in its establishment of a 31,454 SF Cosentino Center in Mt. Kisco, New York.  In addition to leases in Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut, Mr. Greenberg also completed lease transactions for his clients in New Jersey and California.  In all, he completed lease transactions with total consideration of more than $89 million in 2012.
